Electric Cars: The World-Changing Invention

The Tesla Motors Company is the inventor of electric cars. When the company was created, it had aspirations to change the world and make the lives of all citizens more comfortable. Since then, the company has achieved this goal by offering a number of electric car models that are ideal for both personal use and commuting.

About Electric Cars

In 1887, the founder Nikola Tesla created his powerless, silent, and self-propelled contraption known as the Flying Device, which was developed in the laboratories of the US Air Force. This incredible device was known as the Tesla Coil and it was intended to provide a power source for aircraft. He failed to succeed with his idea because the military was not interested in working with him and there were no electric vehicles in use.

Only about 10 years later, Tesla was introduced to a Swiss electric car manufacturer called E.G. Harfouche. Harfouche produced the first production electric vehicle at that time, a model named ‘Econobox.’ This vehicle has electric motors that provide energy for propulsion.

Different Models

The Econobox was the predecessor of the Tesla models and they are very similar. These vehicles are mostly used by commuters who travel to work every day or those who wish to save on gas. However, Harfouche has given the electric car the potential to be modified according to consumer demands.

For instance, Tesla Model S is based on the model of Harfouche. It features a floor mat that can be removed and replaced with a rubber mat for a better grip. Even though the motor is underneath the rear axle, it is located at a place where it does not get in the way of passenger comfort.

Interior Design

The interior of the electric cars is very comfortable people do not find it difficult to sleep. They can sit on their seats and adjust them according to their comfort. Since there is a battery in between the floor mat and the seats. It is important that the batteries are clean before charging them. This ensures that the battery is good enough to run the electric vehicle.

These electric cars are designed with safety in mind. The seats are extremely wide and there is an automatic braking system that allows the driver to apply the brakes without the need to press the accelerator. These features help prevent serious injuries that can be caused by an oncoming vehicle while driving.

Seating

The seating of the electric car is so high that it does not allow the passengers to fall on the steering wheel when making a turn. There is also a space between the front wheel and the seats. So the occupants of the car will not bump their heads. The electric motors that provide the power to the vehicle are mounted higher than the rest of the motor.

Battery Packs

Another feature of electric vehicles is the storage of the batteries. The entire structure of the electric vehicle is formed of batteries that are ready to be charged. This means that when you leave your home you do not have to worry about running out of juice.

Battery packs are also installed in all models of electric vehicles. The entire structure is designed in such a way that it is easy to assemble and disassemble. This makes the process of installation and removal of the battery packs easy.

On the other hand, when the battery pack is being used, the vehicle is connected to the power grid. Since the battery pack is solar-powered, the vehicle operates without the need for electricity. However, even if the battery is not in use, the vehicle can still operate at a comfortable speed.
