Tesla Roadster, The Future Of Electric Vehicles

It should come as no surprise that Tesla is looking to dominate the electric car market. Over the last decade, we’ve spotted cars like Renault, Nissan and Tesla pioneering new technology to create better and more luxurious Electric Vehicles. Tesla Roadster is one of the company’s latest electric vehicles set to hit the market in 2020 but was first announced in 2017. This EV is the successor of Tesla’s first production car which was in 2008. Keep reading to know more about what’s happening with this car model.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla has said that higher performance would be made available beyond the base specification. This will include a model with about 10 cold gas thrusters.

Tesla Roadster’s Technology

As an electric car, the roadster is designed to maximize the potential of a sports car with its elegant aerodynamic engineering. It is in fact already setting records in its performance and efficiency. Its interior makes it more luxurious. And was designed by Franz von Holzhausen. He was a former employee of Mazda. It stands as the first supercar to house four sittings.

Tesla Roadster Design

Its eloquent first-class design and luxurious finishing fit for kings. It still manages to be a convertible with an easy to remove the glass roof. Moreover, it stores in the trunk. Therefore, giving you a seamless conversion and joy-filled cruise. Its rear wheels are also larger than the front, making it more beautiful. There is also a jarring tweet from the CEO of Tesla that implies that a version of the Roadster would be able to fly. This is all thanks it’s SpaceX technology. This made me feel like the future of cars has finally come but there’s nothing solid to hold on to yet. Elon Musk in his tweet said “I’m not. I will use SpaceX cold gas truster’s system with an ultra high-pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel in place of the 2 rear seats.” Cool right?

Tesla has also said it’s going to launch 1000 mini-satellites into orbit so that a satellite is across your head always. This helps all their EV to navigate and function better. That makes it more desirable to EV enthusiasts. There are speculations that what tesla claims to be the battery capacity may be farfetched. This is because the battery capacity they require would most likely be too big to fit into the roadsters’ body frame.

This comment is a direct contradiction of Musk. He said, “this is what we are achieving in the prototype.” This gives us something more to look out for at the launch of the roadster. Tesla, releasing a video, shows the car speeding across a back road. Although this video isn’t much to rely on. It still proves the possibility that indeed Roadster is what Tesla claims it to be.
